Introduction
Firstly, I will briefly outline what I mean by Guided Meditation and Spiritual Healing:
The term Guided Meditation, usually refers to a meditation directed by someone other than the person who is meditating. This can be a class teacher, instructive voice delivered in a local setting, or through a video, or through a recording. A Guided Meditation usually involves verbal instructions, which are followed by the person listening them.
Spiritual Healing is a broad term, to describe Healing Modalities that use energy as a healing tool and include and emphasize a spiritual component.
In this post I will outline the role and benefits of using Guided Meditation in Spiritual Healing.
Guided Meditation in Spiritual Healing
There are numerous reasons to use Guided Meditation in Spiritual Healing. Whether you are the person giving the Healing, or whether you are the person receiving the Healing.
Person Giving The Healing
You use a Guided Meditation to prepare yourself for the Healing work ahead. Doing this is extremely helpful in slowing you down and preparing your focus, mind and energy for your Healing work
Beginner Meditation Guide: – As a Beginner Healer, you find it helpful to try out different Guided Meditations. This enables you to familiarize yourself with different Healing Modalities and ways of working. As well as familiarize yourself with what it feels like to receive healing.
Person Receiving The Healing
Before receiving Spiritual Healing from a Practitioner. A simple guided breathing technique relaxes your whole body and prepares you to be fully receptive for the healing to follow. The Healer provides this Guided Meditation at the beginning of the session. Or you listen to a recording or watch a video, to prepare yourself for the healing.
During the Spiritual Healing, the Practitioner guides you to imagine various healing processes occurring during your body and energy field, while the healing is taking place. The power of your mind and intent while you follow these Guided Mediations, adds to the power and success of the healing.
(You also continue to use the Guided Meditations when the Spiritual Healing Session is over. Both to consolidate the work already done and to enhance and improve your own inner healing abilities).
